Brewery & Cidery Info

Being a participating brewery or cidery at Hood River Orchard & Ale Festival is as easy as it gets. Once you are registered, we will order kegs of the 2 beers or ciders you would like to showcase at the festival. We take it from there and provide volunteers to pour your beers. As a participating brewery or cidery, you get 2 complimentary tickets to the event (a small tasting package with an Orchard & Ale tasting glass, and 6 tasting tokens).

Keg purchasing and distribution

We will contact you to order the kegs and collect your beer or cider descriptions for the Beer & Cider Tasting Guide. For any purchasing questions please contact kelsey@truewestpresents.com.

We can purchase your kegs directly from your brewery or through your distributor. We will be purchasing your two beers or ciders in the following quantities:

  • One 1/2bbl

  • Three 1/6bbls

If anything goes untapped we will sell it back to you or your distributor.

Friday 10/3 12pm-5pm OR Saturday 10/4 8am-10am

Keg Pick Up

Saturday 10/4 7pm-8pm OR Sunday 10/5 8am-12pm

Distributors providing cold trailers can pick them up on Monday from the lot.

Brewers or cidermakers who are self-distributing must pick up on Sun 8am-12pm if the kegs are not taken at event-end.

Serving, Storage, and Staffing

The tastes of your beers or ciders are poured by our wonderful volunteers. We will provide ice, menu signs, and keg buckets. We have a fridge truck on site to keep your kegs cold until event time. Once your keg order is placed with Kelsey, you are all set for showcasing your beers or ciders at Hood River Orchard & Ale Festival.

Jockey boxes

You'll need to provide your own jockey box or arrange for one through your distributor.

Saturday 10/4, 7pm-8pm

Must be set up and event-ready by 10:30am on Saturday.

Vehicles must be off-site by 10am.

You will be told your booth number when you arrive.

Vendor Booths

Craft vendor spaces are 10x10.

Food vendor spaces are 10x20 (let us know if you require more space).

You must provide your own tents, tables, and anything else you need for your personal set up.

Insurance

Food & craft vendors are required to obtain a certificate of insurance with True West listed as the certificate holder. SEE OUR REQUEST LETTER HERE FOR THE EXACT COVERAGE REQUIRED. Send us a copy at kelli@truewestpresents.com.

Electricity

There is 30amp and 50amp power available at an additional cost for food vendors - select your power needs when registering for the event. Both 120v and 20amp power is free, but you must let us know if you need either.

Water

Potable water is on site. Please bring your own hose in case water is not directly behind your setup location.

Security

We have 24 hour security on site, to keep your things safe between event hours.
